Thanks for scanning; I’m glad we found each other.
I work at the crossroads of coaching, writing, and research.
As a coach (in practice since 2018), I support people through two kinds of transition—eating-disorder recovery or career change—by helping them build habits that feel meaningful and alive.
As a researcher, I explore how reading narrative shapes our psychological and physical health, and how mental health treatment can be made less patronising and more effective.
As a writer, I publish in a wide range of genres from academic journals and experimental life-writing, and I run the independent imprint Tamarisk Books, which publishes “intelligent weird books for weird intelligent people”.
