By booking this workshop via Calendly, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. About the event
The Focus Flow Retreat Day is a one-day, in-person workshop combining structured focus sessions with guided movement practices (including breathwork, stretching, and gentle yoga). Participants choose their own activity or project to work on during focus periods. The day is designed to support concentration, ease, and reflection. It is not therapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional healthcare.
2. Facilitators and professional background
The workshop is facilitated by Dr Emily Troscianko and Andreas Wren.
Dr Emily Troscianko is a coach, writer, and researcher, and an EMCC-accredited Senior Practitioner coach who works with individuals and groups around focus, habits, and creative practice.
Andreas Wren is a BWY-qualified yoga and pilates instructor with extensive experience teaching group and 1:1 movement practices.
Both facilitators work within their scope of professional expertise.
3. Booking, payment, and eligibility
A place is secured only once payment has been received in full. Places are limited.
This event is open to participants aged 18 and over.
4. Cancellation and transfers
Bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, your place can be transferred to a future Focus Flow event (subject to availability) or to another named participant, with prior notice.
5. Facilitator cancellation
In the unlikely event that the workshop needs to be cancelled by the facilitators, participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to a future event. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred (such as travel or accommodation).
6. Shared lunch
The day includes a bring-and-share lunch. Participants will be invited in advance to contribute an item, and we’ll circulate guidance nearer the time. This is an informal shared meal rather than a catered service. Participants are responsible for managing their own dietary needs and allergies. If you prefer, you are very welcome to bring food just for yourself.
7. Participation, access, and personal responsibility
By booking, you confirm that you are responsible for your own physical and emotional wellbeing during the event. You agree to work within your own limits during movement sessions and to inform the facilitators of any relevant injuries or health considerations. Participation in all activities is optional, and you are free to rest, adapt, or opt out at any time.
If you have access needs or would like to discuss possible adaptations, please contact us in advance so we can see what can be supported.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the facilitators are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where caused by negligence.
Distraction-free environment
To support collective focus and rest, this retreat day is designed to be free from phones, email, and other digital distractions for the full duration, including breaks. We ask all participants to commit to being offline during the day and to support one another in maintaining this shared container.
If being fully offline for the day may be difficult for you (for caring or other reasons), please contact us before booking so we can discuss whether participation will be workable.
8. Feedback
We may invite participants to share written and/or verbal feedback at the end of the day. Providing feedback is entirely optional.
9. Data protection and communications
Your contact details will be used only to communicate with you about this event and related follow-up. Data will be stored securely and not shared with third parties. You may request deletion of your data at any time after the event.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
